Do I need to provide any documentation to support the EPC?

If you have them, these can help: FENSA or installation certificates for replacement windows; Building Control completion notices for extensions, conversions or insulation work; MCS certificate for any solar PV panel or heat pump; and insulation guarantees for loft and internal wall insulation.
How long does the assessment take?

Most homes take 30–45 minutes to survey, depending on size and number of rooms.
Can you guarantee a particular EPC rating?

We cannot and do not guarantee any particular EPC rating. The methodology we use to carry out domestic energy assessments is RdSAP.
How does the process work?

Once a survey has been completed, a draft certificate is produced within 24 hours. An invoice is then issued, and the certificate is lodged on the Government Register once it's paid.
How long is an EPC valid for?

An Energy Performance Certificate is valid for 10 years from the date of assessment.
