Fast, accredited domestic EPC assessments across SE1, SE15, SE16, SE17, SE21 and SE22 — from Bermondsey and Rotherhithe to Peckham, Camberwell, Walworth and Dulwich.
Southwark's housing splits into distinct worlds, and I work in all of them. Along the river, Bermondsey and Rotherhithe are packed with warehouse conversions and modern apartment schemes — Butler's Wharf, Shad Thames, Canada Water — where I liaise with concierges and managing agents for access. Through the middle of the borough, Walworth, Camberwell and Peckham mix large ex-local-authority estates with Victorian terraces, and leaseholders exercising right-to-buy or selling ex-council flats are regular clients. To the south, East Dulwich and Dulwich Village are classic Victorian and Edwardian family-house territory, mostly EPCs for sale.
Southwark has a very active lettings market, and much of my work here comes through letting agents who need certificates turned around before a tenancy starts. A valid EPC is required before a property can be marketed, and rented homes must meet the minimum energy efficiency standard — currently an EPC rating of E, though the government plans to raise this to a rating of C by 1st October 2030.
